SaskTel “Fast as 5G” Contest Rules

1. Eligibility

• The Contest is open to all who register at sasktel.com/game before the end of the entry window.

• There is no purchase necessary to enter.

• Entrants must be residents of Saskatchewan and at least 18 years of age or older.

• Employees of SaskTel, its affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, dealers, and their immediate family members are not eligible to participate.

• One entry per phone number. If a phone number is used for more than one entry, all entries linked to that number will be void.

2. How to Enter

• Participants can choose to play the game anonymously or register at sasktel.com/game for a chance to win a prize.

• To register, participants must provide their name and phone number on the game’s landing page.

• Only one entry per person is allowed per event.

• Participants must load the specified web page on their smartphone browser to access the game.

• The game, “Fast as 5G,” will be played on the participant’s smartphone.

5. Prize

• The prize is $250.

6. Winner Selection and Notification

• Winners will be selected through a random draw from all registered participants.

• Winners will be notified via text message to the phone number provided during registration.

• The winner will be told where to meet the SaskTel prize team within the event venue

• Upon successful completion of a skill testing question and verification of eligibility, the winner will be awarded their prize.

• If the winner is no longer at the event venue he or she  will have 7 days to notify SaskTel  at the number that sent them the text message notification to make arrangements to receive their prize.  If such a winner  does not contact SaskTel in time they will forfeit their prize and an alternate winner selected.

7. Liability

• SaskTel is not responsible for any human or machine errors of any kind that may occur during any event for which the Contest is run.

• SaskTel is not responsible for any issues participants may encounter with their smartphones or internet connectivity while playing the game.

• By participating, entrants agree to release and hold harmless SaskTel and its affiliates from any liability, injury, loss, or damage of any kind arising from or in connection with the Contest.

8. Privacy

• Personal information collected from participants will be used solely for the purpose of administering the Contest and will not be shared with third parties without consent.

• By entering the Contest, participants consent to the collection and use of their personal information as described in these rules.

• Within 30 days of a winner being awarded their prize the data collected from all non-winners will be destroyed.

• The winner agrees to allow SaskTel the rights to use their name and likeness for promotional purposes on their social media channels to announce the winner of the Contest for up to one year.

9. General Conditions

• SaskTel reserves the right to cancel, suspend, and/or modify the contest if any fraud, technical failures, or any other factor beyond SaskTel’s reasonable control impairs the integrity or proper functioning of the contest.

• SaskTel reserves the right to disqualify any individual it finds to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Contest or to be acting in violation of these rules or in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner.

• SaskTel is the sole judge and decision maker regarding any dispute regarding the application or interpretation of these Contest Rules or any other aspect of the Contest at each event where the Contest is run and SaskTel's judgment or decision shall be final.  

10. Governing Law

• The Contest is governed by the laws of the province of Saskatchewan.
